Non Machine Readable Passport (NMRP) for Emergency Travel
This passport will be issued only in case of emergency travel, where a New Passport has already been applied for and pending the receipt of such passport.
The same procedure as for a "New Passport" has to be followed by submitting the same application and documents, together with the following:-
Fee : $.56/=, payable by cash, bank cheque or money order to the "Sri Lanka Consulate General".
The Travel Itinerary too would be required.
